We’re excited to share our ongoing collaboration with the Somaliland Ministry of Agricultural Development, supported by the Somaliland Development Fund (SDF), as part of a feasibility study for Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) in Erigavo and El afweyn.

Using drone photogrammetry and LiDAR, our work focuses on generating the geospatial evidence needed to plan and invest in sustainable land and water management.

Our team is currently:

✅ Mapping irrigation farms and canal networks with high-resolution LiDAR

✅ Identifying and analyzing gullies and degraded lands to inform restoration efforts

✅ Producing orthomosaic maps, DEMs, and 3D terrain models for hydrological analysis

✅ Delivering detailed geospatial datasets to support evidence-based CSA interventions

These outputs will provide the critical foundation for policies and investments that promote climate resilience and sustainable agriculture in Somaliland.
