We are pleased to have provided technical support to the Puntland Water Development Agency in producing this bulletin, which offers an in-depth overview of current groundwater conditions in Puntland. The findings are based on data generated from 10 automatic groundwater monitoring stations installed across ten strategic locations in Puntland. These stations track critical parameters such as water levels and electrical conductivity (EC) to assess groundwater quantity and quality. Additionally, approximately 170 boreholes submit weekly functionality reports via mobile phones, providing insights into yield, water consumption patterns, and local price fluctuations.
